One of the best Auckland attractions, Waiheke Island is a destination to relax and take it easy.

If you want to really get into the island lifestyle, at least one or two nights is ideal. With easy access from Auckland city, the Waiheke Island ferry runs regularly throughout the day and late in the evening.  The island offers a wide range of accommodation options which caters for backpackers to those requiring a top of the range 5 star experience.

Waiheke is a very popular Auckland wedding venue with over 500 weddings held on the Island every year. With luscious vineyards offering sumptuous cuisine, superb views and exceptional service, this surely is a romantic island paradise.

During your stay on the island, Waiheke Island activities can include kayaking to dining in some of the best restaurants in the world. There is a great cafe culture on the island with some great options for a relaxing lunch with friends and family. Our vineyards are a 'must do' for visitors – and there is even a micro-brewery.

Around every corner is yet another spectacular view – and the locals are friendly. What more could you want for a relaxing break away from it all.

And... there are no traffic lights and no fast food outlets but plenty of cafes and restaurants.

Come and enjoy all that Waiheke Island has to offer...
